Grayton the Gymnist

As some who check these posts know, Amber is on break and is spending some time with her family. In speaking to her today, she said our daughter is quite the acrobat. Amber now has a better feel of what kind of movement the baby is making and how the little body is positioned.

On a sadder note, Amber's grandmother, Geneva "Granny" Martin, passed away on Thursday night. In speaking to a co-worker, he mentioned that the Jewish belief (and I have not confirmed this so don't hold me to it) is that God replaces what he takes away. I thought this was a very cool way at looking at things. So if Amber and I are lucky, Baby Grayton will have characteristics of both Grandpa Albert and Grandma Geneva, at the very least I know all our passed family members will be watching out for her which is cool in itself.

God Bless Granny.

MOVEMENT

During the past week, Amber felt a butterfly like feeling in her stomache. She can only attribute it to Grayton movement. ( I thought she had gas.) While the movement will intensify, it was the first sign. Amber was very shocked and excited.

GRAYTON?!?!

Over the past few days, we have heard numerous times what kinda name is Grayton. About 20 minutes east of Amber's home town of Destin, is a beach named Grayton Beach. A friend of Amber's mother, Michele, has a home on the beach that she is nice enough to share with us. This is a place to get away from all the troubles of the world and enjoy friendships, family and definitely food. Selzer family members will remember the Red Bar, a wonderful restaurant also located on Grayton Beach. Because of the peace and joy we experience at Grayton Beach, we decided to name our daughter after it.

Baby Registries

Since we found out that we are having a girl, we have had a few people ask if we had a registry set up. Amber and I spent the day at Target & Babies 'R Us scanning and gunning items (I played with the gun). The registries are available at www.target.com & www.babiesrus.com , we have also added a link on our site. Just type in Del Tufo under the baby registry tab. (Don't forget the space in Del Tufo)
